Dec '25 Snapshot
Hello and happy December!
The last few months have been busy! In October I got married, edited Creepy's 32 Days of Horror, and even did a daily drawing challenge! It feels like I needed all of November just to catch up- But that didn't stop us from debuting Mayfair Watchers Society Season 3! Which is to say, the work is ongoing. Always ongoing.
And since it's the start of a new month, I thought I should share some of the SCP work going on behind the scenes! First up, it's time for another merch drop!
December Merch Drop
You have until December 16 to join our Patreon, or upgrade to the $10+ tiers to get this month's merch drop!
ICYMI we recently updated our prices. In short, we're moving postcards from the $5 to the $10 tier to offset the increased cost of materials and shipping. We really want to focus on making high quality rewards, and we hope by adjusting the price, we can do just that.
First up, we have this month's postcard, designed lovingly by Valdevia!

And for the folks at $20+, you'll also receive a sticker sheet! It's been several years since our last sticker sheet, and I'm really excited we're doing a new one! This month's design features new containment class icons (you'll see these a lot more in next seasons graphics, keep an eye out)! These will be printed on a clear sheet, so you can apply them to whatever Euclid/Keter/Neutralized objects you have lying around the house!
And if you're looking for something cleaner, we also have our S8 logo in black that we're throwing in everyone's envelopes

More SCP News
Last month, on our Patreon I gave some quick production updates - If you missed them, here's a quick recap:
- New episodes every week until Feb 26
- Usually we take a winter break in December/January, but this year, thanks to Daisy's hard work and a lot of time & sweat from our production team, I'm glad to say we we'll have new episodes every week!
- Season 9 - Starting March 5
- We've spun up a new production team, lead by Hannah Schooner & Giancarlo Herrera! They've written a 12-episode miniseries that'll run from March until May.
- Season 10 - Starting May 28
- As soon as S9 wraps, we'll be back with our weekly anthology format! This will run until Spring 2027
- Around this time we'll start releasing a second bonus episode on Patreon each month
- Bloody Disgusting's 25th Anniversary
- 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of Bloody Disgusting! Lots of exciting news that I can't share, but stay tuned! We're working on some cool things!!
I also promised that I'd have more to share today, so let's dig in!
Season 9
It's been awhile since our last limited series, Class of '76. I thought we were overdue for another original story set in the SCP universe, so Daisy & I set out to make it happen! Hannah & Giancarlo, two of our incredible actors, suggested a sit com set in the universe of SCP! With so many workplace hazards, bureaucracy, and interpersonal grudges, it seemed like the perfect blend of genres.
I'm happy to present: Season 9 - Situationally Comedic Persons
We'll follow a couple of key characters this season, including a disgruntled janitor with too-high security clearance, two researchers in increasingly dangerous prank war, and a D-class who thinks he can work his way up the Foundation ladder- starting at the bottom rung. Plus, butt-ghosts, everyone's favorite British slug, and many more anomalies. I personally play a D-class who communicates only in grunts. So, you really don't want to miss out!
We'll have more to share as we get a little closer to launch, but as of writing, the first batch of episodes are finishing up production! I got to listen to some early roughs (perks of being the boss) and I couldn't stop smiling. I really can't wait to share this season with the rest of you!
Podcasts to Check Out
It's the holiday season, and I'm sure a lot of you are traveling. If you're anything like me, that means you're quickly running out of podcasts to listen to! So here's a couple of shows that I've been enjoying.
Conversations With Ghosts
It's no secret that I'm a big fan of Archive 81, and it's creators Dan & Marc. Well, they're back with a new fiction podcast, and this one is about interviewing ghosts! It's an anthology of very personal, and touching stories. Great for a brisk morning walk.
John From Back Home
Actually, Jon Grilz (our lovely narrator & host) turned me onto this show. In a series of voicemails, John (from back home) laments on how aweful his life is. Especially when measured against the friend that moved to LA and is living the dream... Or is he? This is a fantastic slow burn thriller. I'm still listening, but there's something just under the surface that's really gripping.
Post Games
I actually don't get much time to listen to podcasts - So when I do, the show has to hook me. I'm a longtime listener of The Besties, and recently one of the hosts, Chris Plante launched his own show & newsletter!
I love video games, and learning how they get made. This podcast is a celebration of the artistry and hard work that goes into making games. Every episode is a treat!
That's a Wrap!
Stay tuned for new episodes of SCP every week, and Mayfair every other week!
Actually, on the note of Mayfair, I'm playing with a second monthly newsletter that'll highlight some upcoming news, and recap recent events. If this newsletter made it's way into your inbox, you're automatically signed up for the Mayfair one (once the first email goes out, you can also opt out if you only want SCP comms).
I'll be back on New Years day with more news, podcast reccs, and a summary of life stuff!
